Aaron Heffernan, voice over artist

Aaron Heffernan graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a joined degree in Drama Studies and Classical Civilisation. He first caught the public eye on T.V. and Radio as Ireland’s favourite Barack Obama impressionist, following the success of the satirical musical comedy Obama Mia! at home in Dublin and abroad at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Aaron also forms part of the critically acclaimed sketch comedy trio A Betrayal of Penguins, having performed at the Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Ivy Gardens, the Galway Comedy Festival and two month-long sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A Betrayal for Penguins have played with such acts as David O’Doherty, Maeve Higgins, Dead Cat Bounce and Aidan Bishop, and recently supported world famous sketch duo The Pyjama Men in Vicar Street.
He most recently appeared in the critically acclaimed puppet musical Monster Clock in Smock Alley Theatre with Collapsing Horse Theatre, which was given 5 stars from Monster Clock will be returning for a Dublin tour in spring of 2013. He has just finished shooting in London on The Alan Partridge Movie in the role of Hydro opposite Dustin Demri Burns, Colm Meaney and Steve Coogan. He is currently appearing on stage in Threepenny Opera at the Gate Theatre as the role of Jake. Aaron will appear as the role of Dectective Inspector Gavin Brogan in series four of the multi-award winning RTE drama Love/Hate.
