Tadhg Hickey, voice over artist
Tadhg Hickey is a comedian; actor; writer; director; musician; and general morale booster around Cork. He wrote, directed and starred in the RTÉ sitcom, The School, and has written and starred in numerous prize winning short films including Uisce Beatha (Filmmakers’ Prize, DC Shorts festival, Washington). His first solo show, In One Eye Out The Other, was the most nominated production at Dublin Fringe Awards 2019, and is currently touring internationally. He is currently writing a follow up show; a feature film; co-writing a TV series; and has just been commissioned to write a book, God love him.
His recent voiceover credits include the ongoing international Redbreast Whiskey campaign; Paddy Power; Science Foundation of Ireland; RTÉ Jnr’s Critters TV; and Minding Creative Minds. In his singing days RTÉ Arena compared his voice to “velvet”; for Hotpress it was “timeless & honeyed” – not bad for a lad from Cork City centre!
