Jody has a warm, clear, neutral voice, with a broad range, suited to corporate, character or comic work. She has numerous accents at her disposal and is a fluent Irish speaker.

Jody has over 20 years’ experience of working as a voiceover artist. Her experience in this area spans radio drama, animation, film and theatre as well as many television and radio advertising campaigns in English and Irish.

In addition to her work in voiceover, Jody is an award-winning writer for screen and theatre. In 2024, she is presenting a new play, Grace, as part of Dublin Theatre Festival. Earlier in the year, she had two premieres at Cork Midsummer Festival.

Following the international impact of her 2020 play, What I (Don’t) Know About Autism, Jody’s recent work in theatre has had a strong focus on social inclusion and disability advocacy. She was Theatre Artist-in-Residence at Cork Opera House and UCC from 2022-24, and also a recipient of the Arts Council’s Markievicz Award.

As a screenwriter, she has worked with RTE, CBBC, JAM Media, Cartoon Saloon, Tailored and Little Moon Animation as well as independent development projects funded by Screen Ireland.
